Arts Mentorship Full Program

A little bit more about Bez Arts Mentorship

In case you missed it, we exist to launch young creatives.

Bez Arts Mentorship programs - currently in dance, film and music - will give you training in the arts and so much more. Take the next steps in your journey as an emerging artist - hone your craft in the company of industry professionals.

We know that the current creative environment requires that musicians know about filming their work; dancers need to know how to edit music; and filmmakers need to know how to partner with movement. Students will choose between Music, Film or Dance for your complete experience in training towards your arts goals but additional joint classes will give all students the opportunity to cross over into each others’ territories. Daily classes for 9 months will feature technical classes, creative coaching, personal mentoring and collaborative workshops.. Students can train for a year and up to 4 years.

CORE VALUES

Bez Arts Hub is a collaborative community-focussed, multi-disciplinary exploration of the arts. To continue to discover our shared potential, we have adopted the following core values.

1. The Whole Artist

We are each more valuable than what we produce. That value requires caring for our whole selves to be sustainable creators.

2. Original Work

We don’t just celebrate work that no one else has done before you, we celebrate the work that you haven’t even done before!

3. Scientists of the Arts

Taking arts seriously means being playful with it, exploring, experimenting, investigating and honing the skills to do this well

4. Mentorship

The magic of Bez Arts Hub is our network of creators who are engaged, generous, and here to help you find your next level.

5. Community

Human connections are the lifeblood of collaboration. Bez Arts Hub is a place where creative people come to belong

6. Honesty, Honour and Integrity

Any meaningful community needs these values to survive. They take on new significance when we are creating for others.

Location

We are located in lovely Langley, BC Canada not far from the city of Vancouver. The studio is in the retail district of our city so there are lots of shops and access to transit - we are also surrounded by rivers, ocean and mountains.
