Super excited to have Tonye Aganaba, coming to Bez. Tonye’s style can be described as Soul/Neo-Folk/R&B , and although unique - they have been likened to folx like Lauryn Hill, Ani DiFranco and Chaka Khan . Tonye is a Much More Music Video Award recipient, a steadfast fixture in their arts community - and the kind of singer/performer that turns heads wherever they go.

Vancouver's own Jim Byrnes is a rare gem, with numerous Juno Awards and Maple Blues Awards and many other accolades, Jim keeps the music coming and audiences growing. He has made so many great records and is a great veteran entertainer. We are so delighted to have Jim coming to Bez.

You won’t want to miss this! Colin Sankey and his world class band are bringing the funk to Bez. The man has millions of streams for his masterful take on classics like Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes! With a huge international following this local hero will blow you away!

Valdy, born Valdemar Horsdal in Ottawa, Canada has been part of the fabric of Canadian pop and folk music for almost 40 years. A man with a thousand friends, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island to Texas to New Zealand, he’s a singer, guitarist and songwriter who catches the small but telling moments that make up life.

An epic evening of music awaits….

Wild Blue Herons with Horns features musical talents Bill Sample and Darlene Cooper. Bill, a BC Entertainment Hall of Fame member, is an accomplished musical director and keyboardist, having collaborated with icons like David Foster and Celine Dion, and mentored Diana Krall. Darlene enriches the duo with her voice and performs jazz, soul, and gospel; she is also an educator and composer, having worked with artists like Eric Bibb. The ensemble includes musicians from legendary acts such as Van Morrison and k.d. lang, celebrating their combined achievements.

Hooray! BTU returns to Bez!

Barney Bentall, Tom Taylor and Shari Ulrich’s collaboration since 2007 grew from the undeniable enjoyment for both the artists and their audiences. Their blend of acoustic guitars, mandolin, fiddle and swoon-worthy three-part harmonies in support of their exceptional songwriting and their obvious love of performing together is enduring and inspiring.
