A space where creative alchemy happens on a communal level.

Creativity is best nurtured in communities of compassion, not competition. We become better human beings when we give ourselves permission to be known and transformed through our own reflective creativity, and creative work heals—ourselves and our communities. A sense of belonging is crucial for fostering the safe spaces needed to venture into emotional territories that are both risky and thrilling. Bez Arts Hub is that space.

About Bez Arts Hub.

Established in Langley in 2017 by career artists Russ and Sandy Rosen, Bez is a versatile blackbox theatre and a vibrant gathering place for the community. Having unexpectedly founded a dance studio in 2001 to provide a healthy environment for their daughters, the Rosens’ studio grew rapidly over the years, and by 2017 they were contemplating a new venture that could merge the needs of both the local music and dance communities. This intimate venue, known for its excellent acoustics, hosts an exceptional collection of notable and emerging artists across diverse events like popular concerts, open mic nights and plays.

Beyond performances, Bez Arts Hub offers extensive arts education for all ages. Participants can engage in diverse programs, including comprehensive dance and acting training. For young artists aiming for advanced careers, we provide specialized pre-professional dance training designed for high school and post-secondary students. Bez's core mission is to CARE for vulnerable artists, CREATE safe spaces for artistic expression, and GATHER the community, fostering diversity, honour, and celebration of the arts.
